London original Walking Tour for today's Notting Hill-- extremely high value Victorian homes--upper crust gentry neighborhood--a former history being filled with poverty, squaller, scruffians--filthy of animal slaughter conditions--a cut throat alley--race track-- then it was into Saturday's Portobello Market--The Notting Hill Bookshop was center stage for 1999 money making film Notting Hill staring Hugh Grant and Juila Roberts--famous two mile market--food stalls--fresh produce--noted for antiques--second hand cloths--massive numbers of walker lookers--On to Westminster Abbey for Mass--dinner and walked to our Covent Garden neighborhood and our centrally located Seven Dials Hotel--
day 4 London walks--Train to Cambridge
London Walks--train to Cambridge--only one in UK, WWII American Military Cemetery , remains of flying crewmen and convoy sailors--Cambridge University founded in 1209--regarded as one of worlds five top Universities--composed of muliple seperate colleges and many chapels--St. Johns Chapel Tower--Kings College Chapel--Cambridge University Library--a huge biomedical center and where DNA was discover--boating via punting on the River Cam winding thru campus--
